Request for service and/or medical treatment

  1. We receive the requests from our customers from our web-site, e-mail, Messenger, fax, by phone or personally. In case you ask for a medical advice, it will be delivered to the doctor, and afterwards we will provide you with the response.
  2. We prepare an initial estimated budget. It is important to highlight that the initial budget may be modified depending on the service you choose. As regards medical treatments they may be carried out after the doctor’s judgment, and when the patient is already in Mendoza.
    1. The budget concerning a tourist trip shall depend on the services chosen by the client.
    2. The budget concerning a medical trip shall depend on the medical treatment that the patient may choose: fees (of the medical team), accommodation, service of personal assistance and the transfers. Accommodation and transfer is optional.

    All the services above mentioned may vary, due to the fact that they’ve been prepared in a personalized and exclusive way to fulfill our client’s expectations. Each package is planned according to the special request of each client.

  3. Once the date of the trip and the characteristics regarding the service have been settled, the client shall make a prepayment of a percentage of the total cost according to the service.
    • 50% of the total in case of a medical trip and as regards reservations. The cost shall be maintained for a period of 6 months, afterwards it may vary according to the price at the moment of the trip.
    • 30% of the total in case of a tourist trip and as regards reservations
  4. The payment, within the country, shall be by means of a bank deposit, a copy of the deposit shall be sent by fax as a reservation and in due time.

  5. If it is an international payment, it is through Western Union. In order to withdraw the vouchers and the corresponding receipts, you shall wait until the money is credited (in the bank account) or else exchange the original voucher at our office.
  6. We are in charge of the arrangement of the trip. If it is based on medical treatments, we shall ask the client for his medical history and other information in order to establish if he is suitable for the requested medical treatment. Every medical information delivered by the client, shall be verified by the doctors. The client has the right to protect his identity and medical information, with prior notice.

Our budget do NOT include:

  1. The ticket to Mendoza.
  2. IVA (VAT) and other taxes.
  3. Medicine related or not to the medical treatment.
  4. Any other item not specified.
  5. The extra expenses and interests regarding credit operations.

Medical trip

The organization of the medical trip may suffer modifications depending on the case. The hired medical procedures may be subjected to modifications according to the diagnosis and criteria of the professional in charge.

Medical condition

Clients who may be suffering from pre-existing Medical Conditions are required to pay additional fees for specific clinical pathological investigations relating to their condition(s), or to hire medical specialized staff to assist the patient.

The above mentioned deposit shall be returned, in case there is no need to make use of the extra services related to the preexisting disease.

Ignorance of the patient

In case the results of compulsory medical studies produced unknown information to the client about a preexisting disease or a condition that may complicate the procedure:

  1. The client shall be informed about his medical condition and about the possible consequences of the procedure referring to his general condition of health.
  2. The client shall deposit an extra amount of money (not included in the original package) in order to pay the specific studies or to hire professionals specialized in the pathology.
  3. The deposit (or balance) shall be returned to the client if it’s not necessary to perform other services related to the preexisting disease.

We shall not conduct a procedure that may envolve risks to the client’s health without taking the necessary precautions.

Steps

Confirmation of the dates

We confirm by e-mail the dates of the doctor’s appointment and the procedure. The client shall pay the remaining 50% 30 days before his trip

If the client does not pay the 50% of the package in due time, he shall lose the medical appointments. Once the money is received the appointments shall be reassigned depending on the availability.

Arrival in Mendoza

A personal assistant will be waiting for you and will accompany you to the place where you shall be staying. The client shall receive a schedule with his trips and detailed information about the procedures that he shall sign before carrying out the treatment.

Our assistants are not exclusive for each client, they are assigned depending on the availability, which means that it is possible that an assistant may meet you at the airport or arriving point and another assistant may accompany you to the doctor’s appointment.

If the client wishes to have an exclusive assistant, he may request it (this service has an additional cost).

Before the medical treatment

The performance of the service and the schedule are assured from the first medical appointment. A new estimate shall be carried out in case there may arise extra procedures as from the first medical appointment.

Before the surgery, the patient shall sign a document in which he states that he is aware of the risks that may arise from the procedure he hires and the possible consequences that may occur.

After the medical treatment

After the procedure, the doctor carries out the checkup he may consider necessary and he shall recommend the precautions to take into account when the patient returns back home..

Return back home

The day of the departure the client is accompanied by a personal assistant.

Rights & Liabilities

  1. We state explicitly that we act as a mediator between the passengers and the tour operators: accommodation, medical centers, restaurants, and means of transport or other operators. Consequently, we are not responsible for failure in any of the services that are rendered.
  2. We are not responsible for the issues that may happen by fortuitous events, acts of force majeure or blame. The tour operators do not depend on or are subordinated to us.
  3. Due to technical or operating reasons we reserve the right to alter either partially or totally the organization of the services, before or during their performance.

Policy of alterations and cancellations

  1. The kind of stipulated accommodation may be changed by another accommodation of equal or better standing within the same area without extra charge to the client..
  2. Depending on the service. In case of discontinuance as regards credit operations, the payments concerning administrative expenses shall not be returned.
  3. In case the discontinuance affects the hired services, the return of the payment shall be subjected to contractual conditions of the tour operators.
  4. The reservations shall not be returned to the client in any case. For medical trip, the reservation lasts for a maximum of 6 months subjected to availability.
  5. In case the client decides to cancel the trip after he had already paid the total amount, the remaining percentage of the payment shall be returned (the reservation is not returned in any case).
  6. In every refund the agency may maintain the price of the incurred expenses plus the costs of our services.

Cancellations of the service in Mendoza

If, once in Mendoza, the client decides not to continue a procedure previously hired, he shall be returned the corresponding amount of the service that is not fulfilled, excluding the reservation for the total amount and the incurred expenses up to that time.

In case of a medical treatment, in which the doctor advises not to carry on a procedure due to medical reasons, the corresponding amount of the procedure not including the incurred expenses shall be returned to the client.

New dates

  1. In case the client decides to postpone the trip for personal reasons after he had made the reservation, he may request a new medical appointment for another day, subjected to the availability of the different tour operators.
  2. A client could request a new medical appointment up to a maximum of 2 times.
